We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cleveland, OH. This full-time role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting and analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist the CFO with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
- Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual variance reports and support overall financial performance tracking.
- General Accounting & Reconciliations:
- Record monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, amortizations, and depreciation entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and maintain fixed asset and benefit cost schedules.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Support:
- Assist with processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable aging and support collection efforts.
- Audit Support & Compliance:
- Gather and maintain documentation to support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
- Research and interpret accounting data to respond to inquiries and ensure compliance.
- General Support:
- Uphold and model the company’s Core Values in all work and interactions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Location and Work Environment:
- Onsite in Cleveland, OH.
- Occasional travel between company locations may be required.
- Primarily office-based with some exposure to warehouse environments (some areas may lack heating or air conditioning).

Schedule, Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
- Standard schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
- Occasional overtime may be required during month-end or audit periods.
- Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5+ years of proven accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word.
- Experience with Sage 100 (or similar ERP software) preferred.
- Strong math skills, including percentages, ratios, and fractions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
- Completion of a Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index required.
- Successful completion of a company background check and drug screening required.
Compensación: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
