We’re seeking a positive, motivated, and analytical individual who embodies our Core Values of Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART) to join our team as a Sales & Data Analyst. This position is responsible for analyzing sales data, developing and maintaining reporting, optimizing CRM processes, and identifying opportunities to improve sales performance and operational efficiency. The Sales & Data Analyst will work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing and other key stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, provide actionable insights, enhance data accuracy and visibility, and develop solutions that enable informed business decisions and continued sales growth. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Sales Data & Reporting  
    • Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. 
    • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales performance reports for leadership review. 
    • Create and maintain dashboards and visual reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, CRM analytics, and other available systems. 
    • Monitor key sales metrics and performance indicators to provide visibility into sales activity, pipeline performance, revenue trends, and business results. 
    • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of sales data by identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies. 
    • Translate sales data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making. 
  • CRM & Sales Process Optimization 
    • Maintain and analyze client, prospect, and sales data within the CRM to ensure records are accurate, complete, and reliable. 
    • Monitor CRM usage and data quality and identify opportunities to improve data entry, tracking, reporting, and overall system effectiveness. 
    • Analyze sales pipeline activity, conversion rates, lead progression, and other performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. 
    • Recommend process or system enhancements designed to improve lead conversion, sales effectiveness, revenue growth, and data visibility. 
    • Partner with sales leadership and team members to implement and evaluate improvements to sales processes and CRM practices. 
  • Market & Competitor Research  
    • Conduct market and competitive research to identify industry trends, customer behavior, competitive positioning, and potential business opportunities. 
    • Analyze pricing, product and service demand, customer trends, and emerging market opportunities to support sales and business strategies. 
    • Organize and interpret market findings to identify relevant trends, risks, and opportunities. 
    • Present research findings and recommendations through concise reports, presentations, and data visualizations for leadership. 
  • Process Improvement & Automation 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate sales reporting, data collection, and operational processes. 
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for sales-related processes and reporting. 
    • Evaluate current data tracking and reporting methodologies and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and accuracy. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement process improvements and reporting solutions. 
    • Continuously evaluate sales workflows and reporting needs to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and better business visibility. 
  • Sales Operations & Business Support  
    • Maintain organized and accurate digital sales records, reports, dashboards, and supporting documentation. 
    • Provide analytical support for sales forecasting, goal setting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives. 
    • Prepare data, reports, and presentations for sales meetings, leadership discussions, and business reviews. 
    • Complete ad hoc analyses and special projects related to sales performance, data management, forecasting, customer trends, and business strategy. 
    • Respond to data and reporting requests from sales leadership and other key stakeholders. 
  • Team Collaboration & Communication 
    • Manage assigned projects and priorities independently while providing timely updates on progress, findings, recommendations, and potential challenges. 
    • Partner closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing, Sales Operations Manager, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs, business priorities, and sales objectives. 
    • Participate in regular team and leadership meetings to review performance, discuss findings, establish priorities, and provide analytical insight. 
    • Communicate findings, trends, potential concerns, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Stay current on CRM functionality, data analytics tools, reporting capabilities, and sales operations best practices. 
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.  
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, reporting, or a related field preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. 
  • Working knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and business analytics. 
  • Experience with SAGE, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems is a plus. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Must complete a Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment and pass a company background check and limited drug screen (excludes marijuana). 
Work Conditions  
  • Office-based with some exposure to warehouse environments (some areas may not be heated or air-conditioned).

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks   
  • Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 
  • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days.    
  • 96 hours PTO annually (prorated based on hire date).

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
